Snacks, Water Bottle and Caffeinated Tea - To keep me energized and hydrated over the long hours.
Hot SnapZ- Instant re-useable heat packs for back pain and tense muscle groups.
Lacrosse Ball and Massage Grip- Help with counter pressure and massage techniques (hands get tired after 10 hours).
Scarf- For basic Rebozo techniques.
Change of Clothes - Some labors last more than 12 hours and that's about the time I like to hit the complete refresh button.
Binder - To keep multiple client files close and organized.
The Birth Partner - Penny Simkin's labor help book. Allows me to help educate mom and check when I need some help too.
Electronic Candles and SHE Bio-Active Oil- Promotes relaxation and comforts momma through touch.
Chapstick/Ibuprofen/Face Wipes/Travel Toothbrush - Gotta Cover the basics here, so important to refresh.
Deodorant/Minty Gum- If i'm going to be face to face or in close proximity I sure hope I don't smell.
