Giving birth should be your greatest achievement not your greatest fear." -Jane Weidemen
Birth Doula Package:
A Complimentary Consultation, 1 hour - We'll meet at your home or at a coffee shop to discuss anything you'd like to share about your pregnancy journey, your questions and get to know one another before you make any decisions.
24/7 Call, Text and Email Support - From the time you hire me through our postnatal visit together I am available to support you through any questions and updates on your pregnancy.
One Prenatal Visit, 1-1.5 hours - We'll chat about your Birth Plan, hopes, desires and fears for your labor, as well as, discuss additional information specific to your needs and interests. The included prenatal meeting covers your emotional needs and Birth plan.
Continuous Labor Support - I arrive about an hour after you call for labor support and stay with you, for 1 hour after your baby has been born. During that time, I provide intentional, educational, emotional, and physical support for you and your "birth team" whether that be your partner, mom, sister, or friend. I'm there to help everyone work better as a team so YOU can feel the most loved and supported during your childbirth experience. I also provide a back up Doula in the case that I get sick, am already at another client's birth or am no longer efficiently able to help you.
Birth Photography - I am happy to capture some shots during labor and/or after your baby is born, with my iPhone 6, at no additional cost. You can expect to receive between 5-10 shots, that have been edited, within a week of your delivery.
One Postpartum Visit, 1 hour - This meeting happens within a week of your birth. We'll discuss your labor, breast feeding, how you are doing now, and any further resources I can provide you with to help you succeed with your newborn.
Cost: A sliding fee of $800-$1200* includes everything listed in the package above. The amount of $250 is due when you sign our Expecting Joy Birth Contract and the remainder of $550-$950 is due at our postpartum visit.

In-home Childbirth Class:
Topics in the childbirth class include but are not limited to: signs of labor, the stages of labor, labor positions, coping techniques, basic breastfeeding information & helpful tools to remember it all.
The class benefits both 1st time parents and is a great refresher course for second and third time parents, as well.
The in-home Childbirth class lasts 2 hours and can be scheduled at your convenience.
Cost: $150 due at the start of the class.
I'm a Lamaze trained childbirth educator.
-
Postpartum Package:
If you are interested in postpartum care we will work together to build a specific plan that fits your needs either before or after baby has arrived.
Postpartum care is generally done in 4 hour shifts. During those shifts I can help with and teach newborn care, allow you to shower &/or nap, as well as help with basic meal prep, light cleaning and running some errands.
Cost: $35 an hour.
